A Geographic Information System (GIS) was developed to establish a computerized information system for ecotourism management in Tanjung Tuan Birds Sanctuary, Malacca, Malaysia. Spatial Information on the historical relics, site potential characterizes for tourist attraction and attributes information can be packaged in the GIS database. The spatial information covered three zones comprising (i) ground condition, (ii) recreation zones, and (iii) distribution of flora and fauna. ARCINFO 3.4.2 and ARC VIEW 3.1 was used to display spatial data of these 3 zones and at the same time provide the attribute information such as drainage condition, soil types, flora/fauna, diversity and their population. Digital mapping which involved the need information within the area have been developed where the spatial information about the three zones mentioned earlier can be updated from time to time. The GIS will be useful for manager to make proper management plan and at the same time it can be retrieved the recent information of the Tanjung Tuan, Bird's Sanctuary.
