The difference in the knowledge of salmon between different education level are analyzed using the One-way ANOVA. Through the One-Way ANOVA test, it was found that the knowledge about salmon is different between different education levels(p<O.05). Independent T-test is used to compare the consumption of canned salmon between the males and females. Using the Independent T-test it was found that the consumption of canned salmon between males and females are the same (p>0.05). As a conclusion, it can be said that the consumption of canned salmon among the consumers of Kota Kinabalu is very poor. In order to overcome this situation, more promotions on canned salmon as well as free sample tasting should be given to promote the purchase and consumption of canned salmon. The knowledge about the benefits of salmon is also lacking among the consumers of Kota Kinabalu. More campaigns on benefits of salmon should be carried out so that the consumers are well equipped with the knowledge on salmon.
