Abstract

System medical centre UMS (SYMEDIC) is a system to manage all data of the centre to be more systematically. SYMEDIC is a web-based system allowed patient make appointment via internet. By using this system, the information technology can be given to the management group in medical centre. It also can rise up the quality of work and the productivity of the management group. SYMEDIC system has six modules; they are web page, registration module, administration module, treatment module, dental module and pharmacy module. The web site allows patient make appointment via Internet and gets more information about the medical centre of UMS. Registration module is in charge of patient's registration and managing patient's record. Administration module will manage all the staff's records. It also acts as web server to communicate with client. Treatment module and dental module manage about all the service of treatment, while the pharmacy module in charge of drugs and medicines services. Every module and the staff have their own password for using SYMEDIC The software for designing the interface of SYMEDIC is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, database is design using MySQL While Easyphp is used for design the web server. The best operating system for this system is Microsoft WindowsXP.
