Abstract

This research was conducted to investigate the relationship between Ephemeroptera with water parameter such as pH, conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen and total suspended solid in Telipok River, Sabah (Malaysia) using multiple linear regression. There were 32 possible models were considered in this work derived from the four significant correlation coefficients (between the dependents and independents variables). Eight selection criteria (8SC) were used in selecting a best model which signified the abundance of Ephemeroptera in the river. In order to understand the effect of the water parameters on Ephemeroptera numerical illustrations given in this work.
