Abstract

This paper proposes a tasks analysis of sonification applications for usability inspection. The analysis is based on a unified HCI Sonification Application Model. The tasks are based on three different perspectives on how the data being transformed into sound representation as well as from three different points of view including users, interaction and application. The input and output of the transformations are also included in this analysis as the final interfaces and sound representations of the applications.
