Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship of emotional intelligence on job performance among ground level of management which consists of executives and non executives. The study also examines the mediating effect of the use of emotions on the relationship of emotional intelligence (independent variable) and job performance (dependent variable). In this study, data from 150 respondents were used by analyzed with SPSS version 21. Multiple regressions analysis has been done and the result showed all of dimensions in emotional intelligence have relationship with the use of emotions and job performance. Since, the use of emotions significantly related with job performance. The hierarchical regression analysis results indicated that use of emotion mediated the relationships between regulation if emotions, other's emotions and job performance. Limitation of the study and future research recommendation also been done.
