Abstract
The China government pays more attention to the small and medium sized firms in the recent years. In fact, the SMEs play more and more important among any industries. This research focuses on the manufacturing small and medium sized firms and tries to find out the factors that associate to the SMEs growth. Based on the business demographic theory and business functions structure, this research establishes eight independent variables which contribute to the SMEs growth. They are business age, business size, business location, R&D expenditure, advertisement expenditure, leadership style, organization structure, and external environment. This research recommends a biggest finding, which is the later of the business found, the higher growth rate of the business gets.
