Abstract

Human capital are knowledgeable and skilled is the most important factor to realize the status of a high income nation by 2020. Needs of the market is looking for graduates who have the skills and qualifications that are equivalent to the market demand. Therefore, the study of graduates from the employers perspective through the elements of soft skills are very important for the current needs of the industry, especially agriculture. he objective of the study is 1) to know the background of demographic employers and organizations in the agricultural sector in Johor 2) to identify elements of soft skills needed by the organization, and 3) to identify the relationship of employer perspective on element of soft skills. This study uses the method of delivery set of questionnaire to the respondent by using post method. The selection was done randomly by sending a set of questionnaire to all 10 districts in Johor. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics of mean, standard deviation , frequency and percentage and ranked using factor analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0.From the results presented through tables and diagram. The findings of the study through factor analysis found the highest elements of the selection factors from the perspective of employers of graduates of the first graduates of soft skills are interpersonal skills and communication skills as well as skills in using ICT. Pearson correlation analysis found a significant positive relationship between attitudes to giving instruction in order to be able to control the elements themselves mentally and physically values (r = 0531 ). Coinciding with this review dominance in interpersonal and communication skills and expertise in the management of use of information technology systems into a much needed time in the working environment so as to ensure that one can control the personal behavior of the internal and external dealings with the organization or the individuals responsible for ensuring business continuity
