Abstract
The objectives of this study were to identify the source of sustainable agriculture practices and to evaluate the perceptions about sustainable agriculture among vegetable farmers at Kampung Mesilou Atamis, Kundasang. To obtain the data, a total of 44 respondents were selected and successfully interviewed in person and questionnaires were used. The study found that family members and friends, as well as field trips had become the sources of information about the practices. In factor analysis, two components of farmer perception's formed, which were easily to apply . and also profitable. The item found in the first component which was ""easily to apply"" were easy to operate, easy to understand, technically easy, improve farmer's status and improve garden's landscape. In second component which was "profitable", the item were can protect natural resources for future generations, a better vegetable acceptance by consumers, increase farm revenue, improve vegetable's quality, and also no increase the incidence of pest and weed problem.
