Abstract
Tourism is one of the industries that keep on growing every year. The growth means greater demand from this industry. This industry is just like any other industry can lead to the stress and also intention to leave. In many top organizations in order for them to succeed is to be able to sustain the worker. Therefore the aim of this study is to see the relationship between career development opportunity and also work life balance relates towards intention to leave. As both of is fall under the category of stressor which lead to the outcome. In this study we can see clearly that intention to leave among tourist guides in Sabah is a serious issue. This is because most of the result that show they have the intention of leaving this organization. Basically because they said that there is limited among of career development opportunity and also definitely interrupt their work life balance as tour guide work odd hours. Therefore this study give a very good overview regarding the current situation that needed to be further research and action need to be taken before its getting bad from years to come.
