Abstract
Number Link is one of Nikoli's most popular puzzles where its aim is to connect all pair of same numbers with continuous lines with all empty cell filled. This study is done to build Number Link solver. Some properties of Number Link puzzle are discussed in this dissertation and these properties had been used to build Number Link solver. Two models were found suitable to build Number Link solver: a) Maze Model b) Multi-partite Model. Both of the solvers search for solution that fulfilled properties of Number Link systematically and both proved to be success. Multi-partite model is concluded to be a better model to build Number Link solver compared to Maze model.
