Abstract

This study conducted merely to identify the mediating effect of financial assistance and to investigate the factors of Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) effectiveness towards youth entrepreneurship performance. The scope of the study is the youth whom successfully attended EDP. The previous scholars had highlighted the factors that contributed to the effectiveness of EDP and the existing solid evidence of the roles of financial assistance in youth entrepreneurship performance. There are five hypotheses developed for this study. The result indicates that there is positive relationship between the variables. The study also managed to prove that the financial assistance have strong influence in youth entrepreneurship performance. As a conclusion, the effectiveness dimensions of EDP were identified in the capabilities and knowledge of the facilitator, trainee's knowledge, motivation and objectives of the program.
