Abstract

The main objective of this research study is to determine whether there is relationship between Human Resource Management practices with Employee Performance. Though there are many practices in Human Resource Management are currently used in the current organizations, for the purpose of this research study there are only four variables applied which are: selection of employee, training and development, career planning, and job definition. The organizations that been tested are the fast food restaurants in Kata Kinabalu and those two that had been chosen are Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and McDonald's. Though the organization chosen are 2 big markets name in Kata Kinabalu, but the targeted respondents were those who employed under managerial level only as the turnover of this level is low and their ongoing performance can be assessed. Based on the analysis performed, the results attained are as predicted in Hypothesis. However, the only differences are the weightage of the relationships which means the significance and the distributions of those particular variable towards dependent variable.
